I was a precious seed planted in God's Garden
I was given a season to grow
There's plenty of room all around me
One day my sprouts were beginning to show.
I heard the voice of God
and pushed up a little to see
I struggled around a while longer
Not knowing my struggle was me
I was thirsty and dryness was all around
I wanted so much to get a drink
But all around me was dryness and dust
So much that my mind couldn't think
But one day praise God, the rains came down
And the ground became moist as the water fell
I broke free of the dry dark prison I was in
I sprouted forth, far away from that Hell
Buds began to appear as I grew toward the Sun
And other buds grew with me nearby
We all were reaching for the light we desired
That was radiating from the sky
Our only duty was to grow and
make sure we didn't die
In many colors of God's love
Our beauty made many cry
Many days the storms beat down
And caused our petals to fall
But new blossoms always appeared
And we were determined to stand tall
One day our duty will be over
We will no longer be around
Our beauty and purpose will be perfected
And we will be picked from the ground
"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with
a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump
of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so
shall we ever be with the Lord"
