When Darkness Descends

Darkness descends upon the valley of my soul,
a landscape of doubt and fear.
Though questions arise and the answers elude me,
I know that God is still near.
Adversity assails me and storms rage around me.
How can my spirit know peace?
Through the duration Christ walks by my side and
soon the storms will all cease.
