The best thing about Jesus is....
That He still lives
He is always there for me
Having my back
Looking out for me
Forgiving my lack
He still lives
He still lives
When I know I have gone against His will,
Gotten in trouble and to ask Him for help
And all my Lord says is, "Daughter be still"
And "I Got This"
He still lives
This convicts my heart
And wins my soul
To know that He loves me
Even when I fall short of my goal
He still lives
You see my desire
Is to forever be in His grace
For Him to be well-pleased
When we meet face to face
I know He lives
Because of what He has done in my life
I was once a whore, but now a housewife
At one time, I couldn't imagine loving anyone
Then He blessed me with a vision of the Son
A vision so bright
With a future in it for me
The vision said I could be forgiven
If I asked and repented
All I had to do was open my heart
And ask Jesus to come live in it
I took that vision at it's Word
And since have been flying like a little bird
On my way to Heaven and all It has to give
Because I know in my heart that Jesus lives
